What does the nature of the company, the job or the department have to do with physical attraction? And what about power differences and relationships that are formed at work? According to Patty Kruiswijk as much as 40% of today’s relationships stem from the workplace. “And all that while for a long time we pretended to be non-sexual from 9 to 5. Traditionally in management circles the primary focus was on IQ and EQ; however, sexuality is gaining recognition as an important aspect in the daily operation of many businesses. Many organisations are implementing rules for Amical relationships between colleagues. They do so in order to prevent (possibly clandestine) relationships impact a corporation\u2019s structure and working climate.”<\/p>\n
